Kelley Hunt 2020 show on JCCC concert series rescheduled for Fri. Aug. 20, 2021, additional shows are rescheduling for 2021

As Covid vaccinations progress and it becomes safe for more venues and events to return, we're happy to announce that Kelley and her full touring band have been rescheduled for Fri. Aug. 20, 2021 on the Johnson County Community College Concert Series in Overland Park/Kansas City. This is a rescheduled date from 2020. JCCC will continue to monitor the situation for safety and make a decision whether the concert will take place outside or in one of the Carlsen Center performance venues. Check back on kelleyhunt.com landing page for updated info as it becomes available. We'll update you on other shows that are beginning the rescheduling process as we know more.

Kelley gets 3 guest artist tracks on Duke Robillard's new release

Acclaimed Grammy-nominated guitar master Duke Robillard has released his anticipated new project featuring music of the 20s and 30s - "Duke and His Dames of Rhythm" on MC Records. Kelley gets 3 guest artist tracks alongside "dames" Madeline Peyroux, Maria Mudaur, Catherine Russell, Sunny Crownover and actress/singer songwriter Elizabeth McGovern. Kelley immerses herself into this musical time capsule on both piano and vocals on "If I Could Be With You One Hour Tonight", "Lotus Blossom" and "Please Don't Talk About Me When I'm Gone". "Heartland" single now available in CD form as well as digital download

The Americana ballad single "Heartland" recorded during the "Gravity Loves You" sessions featuring Kelley on vocal and acoustic piano, Grammy-winning mandolin master Sam Bush and acoustic bassist Byron House is now available in CD form at the MERCH STORE ON THIS SITE, all popular online sites and nationwide retailers as well as digital download at all your favorite online sites - Itunes, Amazon, Google Music, Pandora, Spotify, etc.

The song, which expresses the special connection everyone feels for their home place, was actually performed in an earlier form on the live national broadcast of "A Prairie Home Companion" with Garrison Keillor.

"We're hearing that this song resonates with a large number of people, and it certainly is written from the heart as far as I'm personally concerned. I'm grateful to Sam and Byron for helping me bring it to life," said Kelley.

"Heartland" has also been licensed for the remarkable interactive theatrical presentation at the FLINT HILLS DISCOVERY CENTER in Manhattan, KS.

Indie film "The Battle for Bunker Hill" goes into worldwide distribution, headed for Cannes

New World Distribution has announced the worldwide release of "The Battle for Bunker Hill" directed by Kevin Willmott and starring James McDaniel, Laura Kirk, Saeed Jaffray, Blake Robbins and Kevin Geer. And, yes, in addition to co-scoring the film and co-writing the closing credits theme song "Mountain to Move" (on Kelley's "MERCY" CD), Kelley also has a small onscreen role.

The film will be available immediately through online and subscription sources including Google Play, You Tube Movie Rentals, Viaway, Amazon, Sony Playstation and I-tunes with many more platforms to follow. The distributors also plan to screen "Bunker" at the upcoming Cannes Film Festival.
